For the second year in a row, Loadstar has been named one of the Best Places to Work by the Baton Rouge Business Report. Winners were selected based on the result of employee surveys conducted by an independent third party. The Greater Baton Rouge Area includes the lower Mississippi River industrial corridor that Loadstar serves.
“Our employees work at customer sites across the industry,” says Vice President Brett Murray. They do not have a central workplace, but they feel the Loadstar connection and support. To be recognized as a Best Place to Work is deeply gratifying, and validates our efforts to create a superior experience for our employees.”
CEO Brian Haymon says “We start by hiring people who share our values and want to make Loadstar a truly special place to work. Shared values are the foundation of mutual trust. People feel connected here, and sense they are creating something bigger than themselves. They are committed to deliver a superior experience for our customers.”
Loadstar was the highest rated company representing the local refining, chemical, marine, and terminal storage industry. Winners were honored at a recognition breakfast sponsored by the Business Report at its annual awards day in October 2024.
