Loadstar celebrated its fifth anniversary with a banquet on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, marking a milestone of growth, performance and leadership for the company. Founded in 2021 by CEO Brian Haymon, Loadstar quickly emerged as a Baton Rouge-based leader in product handling and site logistics services supporting the refining, chemical and marine industries.
During his keynote address, Haymon reflected on the company’s journey over the past five years and the team that made it possible. “Five years ago, we set out to build more than a company. Our priority was to build a culture grounded in safety, service and strong relationships,” Haymon said. “This milestone belongs to our employees, our partners and our customers who have trusted us, challenged us and grown alongside us. The foundation we’ve built together positions us for an even stronger future.”
During the banquet, Loadstar also presented its inaugural North Star Leadership Award to In-Plant Operations Manager Nicholas Colligan. The North Star has long symbolized steady guidance, clarity and direction. The award recognizes an individual who consistently helps guide the organization forward through leadership rooted in people, process, purpose and perseverance. It honors those who deliver results by empowering others, strengthening how the company works, staying anchored to its mission and demonstrating resilience when challenges arise.
“Nick leads the way every single day, not just through results, but through the way he invests in people,” Haymon said. “He has been instrumental in the growth and success of our organization, and his leadership reflects the very best of Loadstar. I was honored to present Nick with the inaugural North Star Leadership Award, setting the high leadership standard for future winners of this award.”
