On February 26, 2026, Loadstar was proud to participate in Energy Career Awareness Day at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum in Baton Rouge. Hosted through the NSF/LSU Fuel Grant program, the event welcomed approximately 300 fourth-grade students for a hands-on introduction to career pathways in the energy sector.
As part of the Atrium rotations, Loadstar showcased railcar operations through immersive virtual reality technology. Students tested VR headsets and experienced a simulated railcar environment, gaining insight into how home technology can translate directly into the modern workplace. The demonstration sparked meaningful conversations about safety, innovation and the many roles that support energy infrastructure across Louisiana and beyond.
Energy Career Awareness Day is designed to inspire, engage and educate the next generation through STEM-focused experiences. Loadstar was honored to stand alongside industry partners to support workforce development and expand awareness of emerging opportunities within the energy sector.
Investing in students today strengthens the workforce of tomorrow. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an event that aligns so closely with our commitment to safety, service and community partnership.
