Loadstar has been named a 2026 LSU100 honoree, certifying it as one of the fastest-growing LSU graduate-owned or LSU graduate-led businesses.

Loadstar, launched in 2021 and based in Baton Rouge, provides bulk material handling and site logistics services to the refining, chemical, and marine industries. The company currently has operations in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and North Dakota.

Loadstar’s founder and CEO is Brian Haymon, a Baton Rouge native who holds a law degree from LSU. His service to the university includes more than 25 years as Founder and Chair of the LSU Ogden Honors College Advisory Council, a group that supports the Honors College mission of preparing the future leaders of Louisiana and the world.

The LSU100 is the latest major recognition for Loadstar. It was named the 2026 Company of the Year by The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report. Earlier this year, the company received one of the industry’s highest awards, the Hal Ginn Award for Safety Excellence given by the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA).  Loadstar has twice been named as a Best Place to Work by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and is Louisiana’s first Certified Evergreen® company, affirming its commitment to long-term, purpose-driven growth and remaining privately held.
