Loadstar Wins First Place in Safety Excellence

Loadstar was awarded First Place in the Technical Division at the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) Safety Excellence Awards banquet held on March 21st, 2024. This marks the third year in a row that Loadstar has been recognized by GBRIA for safety excellence.

In choosing Loadstar, GBRIA made special mention of the company’s Virtual Reality training for rail operations, citing this as an example of innovation that improves outcomes.

Loadstar was nominated by GBRIA member Deltech. David Ward, Deltech Chief Technology Officer, stated “On behalf of Deltech, I was honored to nominate Loadstar for the GBRIA Safety Excellence Award. Their work at our Baton Rouge Monomers plant is a model of safety and operational excellence. We count on Loadstar to handle the significant risk involved in our product handling covering marine, rail, truck, and warehouse. They are very deserving of their First Place Award.”
